Seriously.
Okay, well, if you read the news on Bleeding Cool, I unfortunately have the sad duty to confirm that it’s true. As of Wednesday of last week, I was informed by an email from my new editor that I am no longer the writer of Batgirl.
I cannot express my disappointment at this. I think…
I cheered so loud when you came onstage at the DC panel, Gail. It means a lot to see a woman write such great comic stories, and I can’t really put into words how angry I am at DC for taking you off Batgirl. /hug
Dick Babs Tim and Cass make a short cameo role in an episode of Justice League . Season One: The Savage Time (Part one)
I…..did not notice this but it totally makes sense. XD
I’m SUPER glad that Dick is Nightwing post time-skip.
I mean, I’m just glad to see Nightwing, really.
But.. why is he so, beefy?
He’s nearly as tall as bats and looks just about as built. That’s not Dick at all!
He’s supposed to be a lean-muscled acrobat, besides that, he’s supposed to be…
My exact reaction to Terry being as built as Bruce by the time he’s the same age Bruce is in JLU…..
- Superman is believed to dead Batman stands in front of his grave.
- Batman: I've got some things to say. I should've said them when you were here, but... despite our differences, I have nothing but respect for you. I hope you knew... know that. You showed me justice doesn't always have to come from the darkness. I'll miss...
- (explosion in distance)
- Batman: What did you always call it, Clark? The Never Ending Battle?
- This is seriously one of my favorite monologues from ANY of the animated DC universes. I love how honest Batman can be with his feelings when he's faced with a real loss.
“Oh Master Bruce, I am so very sorry. I can never replace them, but I promise you: I will never, ever, leave your side.” - Alfred Pennyworth
Also though I’d add: Anyone else’s insides so floppy things seeing Jim Gorden in this scene trying to comfort little!Batman? To think that that man and little boy turn into the men responsible for a lot of the cleaning up in Gotham is awesome.
Batman - Legacy (Detective Comics #702)
Everyone needs an Alfred in their lives.
